Important: Since Advocate Academy provides training services (not physical products), this policy covers cancellation of service bookings and refunds for training sessions. All payments are held in escrow until training completion.
1. CANCELLATION BY TRAINEE

Trainees can cancel their training bookings through their dashboard. Refund amounts depend on when the cancellation is made:

Training on March 15
  • Cancel by March 8 → 100% refund

Pro Tip:
Cancel at least 7 days before to get full refund. Consider rescheduling instead of canceling (free within 7 days).
2. CANCELLATION BY ADVOCATE

When an advocate cancels a training session, the following rules apply:

7. NON-REFUNDABLE CASES
Completed Trainings: No refund after completion confirmation
Partial Attendance (>50%): If trainee attended more than half
Digital Downloads: Training materials once downloaded
Verification Fees: One-time advocate verification fee
Terms Violation: If user violated platform rules
Fraudulent Claims: False refund requests
Fraud Warning: Fraudulent refund claims may result in permanent account suspension and legal action.
8. REFUND PROCESS
Step-by-Step Process:
  1. Log in to your account
  2. Go to "My Trainings" → "Completed/Upcoming"
  3. Click on the specific training session
  4. Select "Request Cancellation/Refund"
  5. Choose reason and submit
  6. Auto-approval for eligible cancellations (7+ days)
  7. Manual review for disputes (24-48 hours)

  • Full payment to advocate (platform bears cost)
  • Free rescheduling option

Advocate called for urgent court hearing:

  • 100% refund to trainee
  • No penalty to advocate (with proof)
