Refund & Cancellation Policy

All payments on Advocate Academy are protected by our Escrow Wallet system. Fees are released to advocates only after training completion is confirmed by both parties.
1. Cancellation by Trainee

3-7 days before training 75% refund Within 5-7 working days
24-48 hours before training 50% refund Within 7-10 working days

2. Cancellation by Advocate
  • If advocate cancels more than 48 hours before training: 100% refund to trainee
  • If advocate cancels within 48 hours: 100% refund + 10% penalty deducted from advocate's wallet
  • Advocate must provide valid reason for cancellation (medical emergency, court appearance, etc.)
  • Repeated cancellations may lead to account suspension
3. Training Quality Issues

If the training quality is not satisfactory:

  1. Step 1: Raise a dispute within 24 hours of training completion
  2. Step 2: Our dispute resolution team will review chat logs, session recordings, and feedback
  3. Step 3: Resolution within 3-5 working days
  4. Step 4: Possible outcomes: Full refund, partial refund, or fee release to advocate
4. Technical Issues

If training cannot be completed due to platform technical issues:

  • Full refund to trainee
  • Advocate receives full payment (platform bears the cost)
  • Rescheduling option available at no additional cost
5. Wallet Refunds

Refunds are processed through our secure wallet system:

  • Refunds are credited to your Academy Wallet immediately upon approval
  • Wallet balance can be used for future trainings
  • Bank transfer requests: Processed within 3-5 working days
  • Minimum withdrawal: ₹500
  • No fees for refunds to bank account
6. Non-Refundable Scenarios
Completed Trainings: No refund after training completion
Partial Attendance: If trainee attended more than 50% of session
Platform Fees: Registration and verification fees are non-refundable
Violation of Terms: No refund if user violates platform policies
7. How to Request a Refund
  1. Go to "My Trainings" section
  2. Select the training session
  3. Click on "Request Refund/Cancellation"
  4. Select reason and provide details
  5. Submit request (auto-approved for eligible cancellations)
  6. For disputes, our team will contact you within 24 hours
